The Student Appeal publishes legal articles, editorials, and informational pieces for law students and lawyers. The Student Appeal accepts responses to both articles and op-eds. Please email article submissions and op-eds to the respective e-mails:

Submit an Article
The Student Appeal accepts legal articles and case notes (from law students and attorneys from any nation). Please review our publication requirements below before submitting:
Publication Fee: The Student Appeal does NOT charge for submissions.
Electronic Submission: The Student Appeal works in all ways to minimize our carbon footprint; therefore, we only accept electronic submissions. All authors should send their manuscripts in Microsoft Word to [email protected] including their name and contact information.
No Prior Publication: All submitted articles must be previously unpublished manuscripts.
Length Limitation: All articles should be no more than 17,000 words, but The Student Appeal will consider longer articles for publication if they are of exceptional quality and importance.
If selected for publication, the Article’s Editor will email the author a copy of our publication agreement for the author to review, sign, and return. Once our editing process is complete, the article will be published on The Student Appeal website.
Want to respond to an article?
The Student Appeal will publish scholarly responses, either concurring or dissenting, provided that the text meet our quality standards. Please email article responses in Microsoft Word format to [email protected].
Length Limitation: Responses should be fewer than 5,000 words.
Submit an Op-Ed
The Student Appeal welcomes submissions of opinion editorials (“op-eds”) on current law and policy issues. We prefer pieces to be less than 1300 words. All authors should send their Op-Eds to [email protected] in Microsoft Word format.
**Bloggers and Website owners- The Student Appeal hopes to create a network of legal information. To that end, if you submit an op-ed, The Student Appeal will hyperlink your op-ed to your website.
